Matt Henry grew up in BC’s Okanagan, raised on equestrian facilities and ranching operations before moving to the Lower Mainland. He is an avid hiker, outdoor enthusiast, and great sports fan, and an active member of the community. Exercise, including yoga and meditation, round out his days with his furry sidekick, Scooter.
Matt is happily married and expecting his first child in 2025.
His career began working for two of the top-producing real estate teams in Vancouver, which was followed by attaining his Realtor accreditation. He joined TRG in 2008 as a licensed agent. In 2011, Matt joined the Sutton Group, West Coast. Invited to join the team, he won Platinum awards each year from 2012 through 2015. His Medallion status for the MLS placed him in the top 10% of Greater Vancouver realtors for five consecutive years.
In addition to touring the GVRD on a weekly basis, Matt assisted in running the MLS Agent Tour for the Tri-Cities, Lower Mainland Real Estate Board from 2010 to 2012. This experience provided him with in-depth knowledge of the market, the uniqueness of each area, and pricing trends, as well as insights into the motivations of clients and agents.
In 2017, Matt joined RE/MAX Select Realty, continuing to rank in the top 10%. The Matt
Henry Team established its own beautiful office to serve clients at the highest standard. In 2020, Matt was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame for earning $1 million in commissions in a short 2-5 year period. In 2023, he was #1 in his office and also achieved Chairman Club status for RE/MAX.
With over 350 successful home negotiations and completions, Matt’s clients work with him because of his dedication and ability to meet their goals. Clients return to him because they know he prioritizes their best interests and forms lasting friendships.
